PAST PRODUCTIONS Pieces of Heather Laura Gray Urbanflow Productions presented “PIECES of Heather Laura Gray” June 13 and 14, 2007 at the Scotia Bank Dance Theatre in Vancouver. Local contemporary dance creator Heather Laura Gray assembled 8 choreographic works that combined urban contemporary dance and theatre. Each piece takes the audience into some of the main influences of Heather Laura Gray’s life. Injected INJECTED is a dynamic urban stage show that fuses the art of spoken word thru music and dance. With a cast of sixty performers, INJECTED performed to sold out crowds February 22-25th, 2006 at the Scotiabank Dance Theatre in Vancouver, Canada. Special guests included Kelly Konno dancer for Janet and Michael Jackson, Justin Timberlake, and Prince, 2005 National Poetry Slam team members Magpie Ulysses, and Zacheus Jackson, National 2006 Individual Poetry Slam winner Patrick Swan as well as MC Ndidi Cascade. Soundbombin'

Urbanflow Productions’ most recent work was in collaboration with music entertainment company 11:11 Underground Entertainment for Soundbombin’ 11: 11.The Tokyo Lounge reached full capacity for the May 17, 2005 event, which displayed rap battles, spoken word, and four local hip hop acts. Western Canada’s only hip hop TV show Pass the Mic (which airs on Shaw Cable) covered our night and aired our segment May 29th, 2005.


UrbanFunk Night

Our opening project UrbanFunk Night, at the Up and Down Lounge, showcased live hip hop dancers, funk tap, scratch dj’ing, live painting, and food. An exciting event, with an attendance of two hundred, URBANFLOW PRODUCTIONS T-shirts and live sketches of artist Karen Parker were sold.
