ABOUT US

Based out of Vancouver Canada, Urbanflow Productions is a dance production company that creates original performances and showcases influenced by urban behaviour. Established in 2003 by Heather Laura Gray, Urbanflow Productions has hosted live events at Century House, The Tokyo Lounge, and International Dance Day 2007. In 2006 their first full length production “INJECTED” involved over sixty performers, including: Kelly Konno dancer for Janet and Michael Jackson, Justin Timberlake; 2005 National Poetry Slam team members Magpie Ulysses, and Zacheus Jackson; National 2006 Individual Poetry Slam winner Patrick Swan as well as MC Ndidi Cascade. In 2007 “PIECES of Heather Laura Gray” was presented at the Scotia Bank Dance Theatre. About the Artistic Director


As Artistic Director of Urbanflow Productions, Heather Laura Gray is eager to bring new audiences out to experience dance. Over the past 12 years Heather’s eclectic talents have aloud her to perform on stage and screen as a dancer, actor and singer. Currently she continues to choreograph, perform and teach urban contemporary dance in Vancouver. She looks forward to performing in Amber Funk Barton’s full length work, RISK as well as her own work in New York with spoken word poet Mahogany Browne in 2009. Selected performance credits include: ”PIECES of Heather Laura Gray”(full length); “Dances For a Small Stage 15“; “The Score” (CBC Musical);“The Lizzy Mcguire Movie“(Feature Film); “Disney Cruise Lines”(Musical) USA; “Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dream Coat”(Musical) T.O.; “The Chris Isaak Show” (TV), “Dead Like Me” (TV), “The Legends of Earthsea” (Miniseries).
